The Bank of the Cook Islands Limited (BCI) gives notice that effective from 1st November 2017, all customer loan defaults (including existing defaults) will be listed with credit reporting agencies both locally and overseas in accordance with BCI’s account terms and conditions.

BCI wishes to advise customers who have defaulted, that the listing of the customer’s default details with credit reporting agencies may adversely affect the customer’s credit assessments and impair the customer’s ability to obtain loans or other forms of credit in the future both here and overseas.
