Golden Saver Account

At BCI we believe that in your golden years you deserve golden service, and that’s exactly what you will get when you sign up to BCI's Golden Saver account. You’ll get unlimited access to your deposits and you can choose how you access your money.

At BCI, the golden service starts when you reach the golden age of 55! First up, there’s no monthly fee. It gets even better after that.

You can have your overseas superannuation (New Zealand and Australia), or Cook Islands Government Pension or your salary and wages directly credited to your Golden Saver Account with access to your money with your BCI Everyday card (anytime at BCI or BSP ATM machines on Rarotonga and Aitutaki, or BSP EFTPOS). You can even follow your transactions by signing up for Text Banking, and you will also receive monthly statements.

By being a Golden Saver Account holder, you will have access to a variety of BCI financial services including inter-islands Money Order Transfer (MOT), automatic payments, and international telegraphic transfers.

"I recently opened a Golden Saver Account which allows me to receive the old age benefit – I most definitely get treated like royalty as soon as I step through BCI doors. I also have a personal loan as well as the People Saver account.

The people’s bank is my number one bank."
